We researched a moving company that was both, price competitive as well as reputable and I have to say that after Minutemen Movers, I will not use another mover. They were not only very affordable, but extremely professional in their demeanor, courteous in their service and always listened to our special requests. They moved us in July, in up two flights of stairs with no complaint and no slow down.They moved a 3 bedroom house and large family room to two different locations. Very dependable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This was the 4th move I have done in the past 7 years using 4 different moving companies. These guys were the best!
When I called for a quote during my last move, I spoke a very nice gentleman by the name of Ijumaa “Malik“ McCutcheon. He was absolutely amazing, especially when we got to talking and he explained that the discount offered by the moving companies is just an inadvertent way of pulling more money from their customers during the pickup of their stuff. He said that the discount gives you a temporarily low price until you exceed your weight at which time they charge you the MUCH HIGHER per lb price making the move A LOT more expensive then you would have ever expected.
You have to understand that something always happens, I've used Allied Vanlines, Prestige Vanlines and Mayflower, and each and every time I trusted their moving consultants, they screwed me over.
I have never written a review for anything! The fact is that the guys at Minutemen Movers deserve every bit of praise for their effort and I just had to put the word out about them. Their prices are great, their staff is really nice and they are honest. That's a rare find with movers and there is no greater value than the honesty of someone whom you are dearly relying on.

I had a great experience with Minutemen Movers. They delivered a very large dresser with a mirror from over 40 minutes away by car to my 4th floor apartment bedroom on last-minute notice. They are very professional at a very affordable price point.

We had to reschedule our moving date for week later because we had some issues on the closing of the house. They were very understanding. On the day of the move we had to go for closing and we were absent for the day. I only explained what was going and that our stuff had to be out in 3 hours. Everything was under pressure but they took care of our furniture as they promised and we were able to focus only on the paper work. Very professional nothing was damaged. I will highly recommend them.
